Latvian ice sculptors make magic, win big

We took our own advice and headed to downtown Ottawa’s Sparks Street over the weekend. Sparks, a pedestrian mall one block south of Parliament Hill, was hosting the 2020 Winterlude International Ice Carving Challenge.

Warmer weather this week may not be kind to the sculptures (or the Canal skateway), but Winterlude organizers will do their best to keep all planned events on track.
